ENVIRONMENT - EROSION AND SEDIMENT CONTROL

Erosion and Sediment Control

Toothman-Orton Engineering Company has developed a reputation of providing successful and cost effective erosion and sediment control solutions to our clients. Our in-house team of engineers and landscape architecture enables us to offer our clientele a well rounded, logical common sense approach to erosion and sediment control issues.

As new development increases and once rural areas are converted to a more urban setting the need for effective design solutions which meet the owner’s ultimate goals for the development while insuring the increased impervious surface created by the project do not negatively effect the surrounding environment. Toothman-Orton has been successful in these areas by providing to our clientele an understanding of their needs and helping to create a site plan which is designed with protection of the existing environment from negative impacts usually associated with new development. These negative impacts can include increased impervious surface which can increase water temperatures, increased sediment loads on streams and damage to adjacent properties from an increase in. Our in-house combination of landscape architecture and civil engineering qualifies us to approach these issues from many different perspectives, including both temporary and permanent structural or vegetative best management.

Toothman-Orton Engineering Company has successfully used this approach on a wide range of project types with varying Climactic Restraints, including several subdivisions in McCall, Boise, Eagle, Meridian and surrounding areas.
