Toothman-Orton Engineering Company has successfully been providing transportation engineering services to local agencies, local highway departments, state highway departments, corps of engineers, and private developers since the mid-1980s. The firm continues to develop and maintain a strong multi-disciplined team of professionals dedicated to meeting the transportation needs of our clients. Many of our projects require the project managers, design engineers and construction managers to work, often under complex constraints, as an integrated team and draw on the strengths of the individual participants and create a project synergy or value that is greater than the sum of the individual participants.
Our comprehensive experience consists of roadway horizontal and vertical alignment, pavement design, roadside features, traffic engineering, storm water drainage, irrigation and utility relocation, pedestrian pathways, right-of-way acquisition, environmental assessments, and design surveys and mapping.
